SANDY SHORES WELL.
Yesterday was a long and productive day with S&B and Source Electric setting up and programing the analyzing equipment flow meters switching the well pump over to the new facility and dialing in the new A.T.S (Automatic transfer switch for the generator) and generator into the new system plus updating the Springs soft ware so the Springs and sandy shores well can communicate with each other. We started at 8:00 and finished at 5:30.
Because there is so many moving parts there was some miscommunication on the timing of the back washing of the filters and a peace of programing hard ware that was thought to have been shipped with the chlorine level indicator turned out to have shipped separately so todays work that was supposed to have happened has been postponed until the filters have been flushed and the programing hard ware for the chlorine level indicator is in hand. The filter assemblies (There’s four filters) have a high concentration of chlorine water solution that will require a couple of days to back wash out to the back wash pond next to the new building.
The next phase for start up (after the flushing) wont happen until the last week of May or possibly the first week of June.
