Monthly board meeting.

SANDY SHORES P.R.V.
The lower sandy shores P.R.V (pressure reducing valve) that needs to be replaced and relocated from its current location is in design stage. We got a low interest preconstruction loan from the state that will cover engineering and survey cost this is the first stage of the project, BHC from Seattle is the engineering firm that has been hired to work on this project. STAY TUNED!
SMALL WATER SYSTEM PLAN.
As you know we have been working on updating our small water system plan for almost the last two years. The engineer Ben Dahli that has been working on it submitted the first draft to D.O.H and the Ecology department two months ago they both came back with some clarifications. There weren’t many half dozen between the two departments, all but one was easy to fill in the last was hydraulic modeling of the distribution system.
Because some of the water mains have been up graded since the last time this modeling was done, we needed to have some fire hydrants flow tested. I looked into hiring an outfit to do this work and discovered that I could buy the equipment to do this test and save money and have the ability to perform this type of test myself after we upgrade a water main.
January 13th Ben Dahli the engineer Skylar and I performed this test in lower Dockton. Ben took this information home and is finishing the modeling up and will submit this information in the next week or two we fully expect to have the plan excepted by D.O.H and Ecology.
