There is a water leak somewhere in the system that should be obvious, but we cannot find it. The silos were 36 feet (38 feet is full) yesterday morning at 9:00am and down to 9 feet this morning at 10:00am – that’s almost 300,000 gallons of water lost in 24 hours. Skylar and I spent all day looking for this elusive water leak and can’t find anything. We drove and walked the entire system + looked at meters that don’t have full time residents. This leak is big – we guess-timate this leak at 150+ gallons a minute. We turned Sandy Shores well on manual this morning – that means it is running nonstop in conjunction with the Springs and we have not been able to make any gains at the silos. Normally Sandy Shores is on auto. allowing the Springs and Sandy Shores to alternate between each other having no problem keeping up with water production during the hot season.
Please help us find this leak. Keep your eyes open if you see any wet spot that doesn’t look normal and call me 206-769-7415. MAKE SURE YOU DON’T HAVE ANY LEAKS ON YOUR PROPERTY. AND THIS IS A CALL TO CONSERVE WATER. Please tell your neighbors and have your neighbors tell their neighbors.
